Thick black clouds pierced with brilliant sunshine fall across the concrete of the Heygate, Aylesbury and surrounding estates. Blossoms billow in the breeze between the tower blocks, a man rests in the sun next to a pile of rubbish and a neon sign claiming it had a dream now succumbs sadly to the surrounding greyness.
Laminated signs fend off the weather, informing us of tree planting days, requesting new players for musical instruments in church or subtly, in the very smallest of print, letting us know that the estate is to be demolished.
